converting Kinze1050 to 2015

I have followed this video on you tube on how to convert a mod to 2015, as it did not work, saying when attempting to purchase the over loader it says "the vehicle can bought please try again later". so i looked in giants editor to see if their where any errors which their is none. The conclusion i can make is either this video has forgotten something or is fake. so i ask if their is a tutorial on this site on how to convert mods to 2015. Or even better is someone knows if someone has already converted this mod "kinze1050".

I've converted the SMW Kinze 1050 pack to 2015 for private use but I kept all the original scripting for it.

How we're you trying to set it up? I am guessing you like a lot of others are trying to set it up like the default augerWagon. If that is the case, the main reason it can't be purchased is because the vehicle type must be changed to augerWagon in the xml.

I did not have this issue since I kept its original Overloaded script and did not edit the xml much.

I tried and failed miserably when I tried setting it up like the default augerWagon.

I am able to purchase it, the question I have is, how do you make the tarp, the signal work, and the pipe fold. I feel like I am asking alot. Bit I would like to know.

take the original mod and unzip it.

u will need the ingame grain carts wheel lines from the xml

open up modDesc and change the version to 21 and machineType to category then save

open up the vehicle xml for the BW and the RC then add the lines below
-    <wheels autoRotateBackSpeed="2.0">
        <wheel  restLoad="3.6" repr="0"                 radius="0.97" initialCompression="50" suspTravel="0.08" spring="140" damper="50" mass="0.45" hasTyreTracks="true" tyreTrackAtlasIndex="0"/>
        <wheel  restLoad="3.6" repr="1"         radius="0.97" initialCompression="50" suspTravel="0.08" spring="140" damper="50" mass="0.45" hasTyreTracks="true" tyreTrackAtlasIndex="0"/>
    </wheels>

then save it and import it to your game mods folder and try it. this is all i had to do to get my Kinze's that i converted to J&M's

once that done u will have to fix all the bugs in your log but thats not to hard.
