A Midwest map... and no oats or soybeans???  *facepalm* Not an insult by any means. Just wondered why they are not in the map. I will still down load it and give it a try.  :)

When I pushed esc and went in to look at map it looked just liked hagenstadt? Have yet to explore map further. Just found out do NOT judge a map by the PDA. I explored this map and it is great. LOVE the big red barn and if I understood GE I would make those doors so they could be opened. Lets see Dodger Ram 1500 from this site, the case combine of AlbertL and couple of older tractors and this map will be great.

Thanks, it still has along way to go but it has potential to be a lot better. One of the biggest problems I have to fix is the view distance. I plan on adding animals, also other improvements, and may try adding soybeans. I am  still pretty new to modding I wanted to get a first version out to get some opinions, and ideas on how to fix some stuff.

Barnes and Noble has a release date of Nov 10th I believe for Farming Simulator for dummies. The book is also supposed to be with the FS 2015 collectors edition. Google Farming simulator for dummies.

I understand this map is a wip but it has a long way to go there is still trees, fences etc in the air and the pda map is wrong and i only had a little 2 min look, I would suggest u do a little more detail before uploading your map again if u want feed back maybe start a wip topic if u haven't already and post some pics, im sorry and don't mean to offend you but when i have to deal with "uploaded" and other sites to get mods it really gives me the _._._._'s when i open up maps and fine things that are easy to do but haven't been done. *facepalm* Im really surprised it was allowed to be uploaded to the site. Anyway with a little more effort it could be a good map ill check it out in GE later and pass on more feed back.

i'm sure this post won't stick but wow, what a *. a user tries his/her hand at modding a map for the first time and this is the response? if you want perfect mods then get them from the people you know to put out perfect mods. but the creator even said this was the first time trying a map. so it's expected not to be perfect. you have to start somewhere. perfection doesn't happen on the first try.  whats easy to you may not be easy to another so you can't even complain about whats done and not done.

the above post sure does discourage people from trying. you can't find your mistakes and learn from them if you don't put it out there. this is all coming from a user who hasn't even downloaded the map, a user who is trying to learn the first thing about modding to make an attempt. but if this is the attitude i think i'll stick with finding mods from other people.

Warning you are on the boarder line of taking a little vacation from the site. ;)

It was my first time and right this second I am working on loads of improvements. I suggest don't criticize unless you can do it better*facepalm* It takes hours and hours to learn how mod and I am still learning. Don't like it don't use it

I do have to apologies for my out burst the other day, my wording might not have been the best, at the time I was running on not much sleep but that is no excuse and I could have worded my response better, so sorry for that. Although some of those points should be easy for you to fix as you have already mastered the placement side of things its just a bit more time in the detail,  I find looking at, lets say trees for example, its best to look at them from different angles especially on uneven ground just to be sure they are not floating, this also goes for all other objects. But dont worry you would be surprised on how many maps out there can have floating objects in them even in some very experience modders maps, and im sure if u looked at my maps you might find one or two ;). If u need any help u can pm me I might not know everything but im pretty much self taught but ill help where I can if you want
Feel free to check out my work on fs-uk if u like as I have not got any on here I was going to put my next one on here but its to close to fs15 release and its not finished. You'll find 4 maps on there under the same name "hocks23" Aussiefarms is my favorite but it was made for fs11 and I released it a week all so before fs13 so alot of people missed it a shame really as it is a great map if I do say so myself.

Oh and find yourself some good testers I always use the same few people its always good to fix those things that another set of eyes might pick up , but make sure you trust them or your work might appear where you dont want it. Below is a great help for cowzones etc I use it all the time as I always forget.

I think that it was a very good first attempt, it has great potential. Take your time to get it right. I'm looking forward to the updated version when it comes out. Thanks for your time and effort in doing an Ohio map.  (y)
