Love these trucks, amazing work. Can't believe the detail put into them. Keep it up!

I read on American Iron Modding that there was an issue with a texture for the washable scripts, any updates on this? Not trying to rush anyone here, just curious. No problem if you don't have the time to work on it, I realize that you guys have priorities in real life.

Thanks.

No Issues at all, just takes a lot of work to get done with limited time to do so. The dirt textures are now mostly done for standard bed version but may still get some tweaking to improve looks. Just need to add the scripting to the xml and I3d at this point. Time is very limited at the moment with my new job. I will try to post an image soon showing the dirt skin.

Thanks the update. I understand the limited time problem. If you're unable to post the image, that's fine.

Appreciate the hard work, I only have basic modding skills and could never design a truck close to this.

Update 8/24/14:

The dirt textures are finished and applied to both versions, the SRW washable specialization has been scripted and is ready for final testing for the latest revisions. The DRW needs adjustment of the main collision which is conflicting with the winch collision, should be an easy fix. I am trying to get the DRW washable scripting done tonight so it can go to final testing as well.

Once the above is completed and they have had a once over by the testers, it should be time for a video and then release. Sorry it's taking so long, some things in life are more important. Hope to have completed soon for FS13 and hopefully it will be an easy conversion to get them into FS15 in a few months.

They look great, really like the dirt textures. Thank you for the time you invest in your mods.

It will done when it's done. you have been warned!!! ;)

Forum Rules (Second Edition)
(Section 3) Work In Progress (WIP) Topics
All WIP topics are required to have proof of your work in progress mod, usually a picture.
A mod WIP topic should not be started until the model is nearly finished or has been in-gamed to Giants editor, that way others can assume there is a chance of the project actually being finished.
Include a detailed description of your WIP mod or map so that others know what the planned features will be without asking a hundred questions.
Posted WIPs MUST be uploaded to the American Eagles Modding web site when finished.
If your WIP is an edit, permission from the original modder must be granted before posting the WIP topic.
Controversial mods are not permitted in the WIP section.
--This includes but is not limited to hemp production.
No asking when a mod will be released or an update posted.

Why are you in a hurry?

There's no law that says if you take X amount of time to test a mod, it's enough.

For goodness sake, they could test it till FS 2017 comes out, and we'd really have nothing to complain about.

You have to realize that they DONT HAVE TO release them to the public. If they really wanted to, they couldve just kept them for themselves. But they are generous people and have a real life outside of FS that involves work, family, and friends. It is a privelage to have this a release. I know several modders who have decided to stop releasing mods to the public due to people asking for download links and when the mods will be finished. All in all, have patience, as my parents always said, it is a virtue.
