new project new error...i need a tip

I got my woodcrane  to show in ingame

but still gets some problems with it ,,,  first is I cant attach it ,, I got it once .. and seems that the hydrolics wont work

and here where I get really confused in ,,,, and I look and spent like 20 hours on the net to read about modding ,,,

there some lines in the xml that I don t get to clear in my mind

it the COMPONENTJOINTSINDEX
componentJointIndex="3 6 7 8 9 10 11"

WHERE THOSE INDEX ARE FROM

I tried to count it in the scenghraph ,,, but it does t make sense

here the mod I m working on feel free to make it work if you want ...

For starters I will say this.


Here is your VehicleTypes for the mod in the modDesc.xml
<vehicleTypes>
        <type name="junkkariPatruuna" className="Vehicle" filename="$dataS/scripts/vehicles/Vehicle.lua">
         <specialization name="attachable" />
         <specialization name="animatedVehicle" />
         <specialization name="mouseControlsVehicle" />
         <specialization name="cylindered" />
         <specialization name="outrigger"/>
         <specialization name="woodClaw"/>
         
       </type>
 </vehicleTypes>


Here is the vehicleType name in the vehicle.xml

<vehicle type="implement">

These to be different this will eliminate the possibility of the  "specialization" to load ! The name must be the same and use something that the in game does not recognize a vehicle type.

This is only the start !

but in the componentJointIndex="3 6 7 8 9 10 11

where the 3 6 7 8 9 10 11 are from  ...  is this the count in the scenegraph from the index
