John Deere 9610 header attaching problems help!
« on: February 04, 2014, 06:56:40 PM »
I found a header online that resembles a John Deere 925R very similar.  I took the header and modified the textures to match the combine.  When I attach the header it sits too high on the feeder house and it also rocks back and forth and sits at an angle when cutting as you can see from the picture.  I'm not sure how to go about fixing this so any help is appreciated.

You could move the attacher on the header.  And the tilting might have to do with the center of mass on the header.

I know how to work with giants editor some.  A brief explanation on how to move the attacher would be great thanks!

Take your cutter index from XML, find in GE and rise it up a little, save. go in game and test.

BESURE remove zip to back up folder.

I have the height issue fixed! The header still wants to rock back and forth it's like its not attached and just swivels side to side with the movement of the combine.

What's the center of mass for the head? (open the xml and go to the components section)
