Placeable Help
« on: June 23, 2013, 10:03:19 PM »
I'm making a placeable stopsign and I have it ingame, but half of it is missing. I'm guessing it's a problem with the .xml. Here's a picture of the mod

And the .xml. What should I edit in this to raise it ingame?
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="no" ?>
<placeable>
    <placeableType>placeable</placeableType>
    <filename>Stopsign.i3d</filename>
    <placement testSizeX="1" testSizeZ="1" sizeX="1" sizeZ="1" useRandomYRotation="false" useManualYRotation="true" />
    <incomePerHour>0</incomePerHour>
</placeable>

Thanks in advance.

I think you need a longer post to get that sign in the air...;)

Where is the gizmo/Manipulator/pivot/transform on the model in GE?

It should be placed at the base of the stop sign.  You can change your pivot/manipulator in 3ds or what ever program you use.

Or you can place the sign in tranforming group and move to the base of the sign.

Got it to work, thanks Scott. All I had to do was move the object base in Max.
