How to keep implements from rolling away
« on: April 25, 2013, 10:42:19 PM »
I am having an problem, it is more annoying than anything. I play White Pines, and it isn't flat around the farm and whenever I start playing again, my disk, chisel plow, whatever tillage impement I have parked around the farm rolls away, then I have to find it, they never go far, but they do roll away. Is there any way to fix this? Would adding a jack with the jackstand specialization fix it? Any help is appreciated.

Is the place you are parking them flat?

No. I know that is part of the problem. I just notice if you park a semi trailer on a hill, it doesn't roll away, the semi trailers have the jackstand specilization. Maybe I am overlooking something simple.

Look for this in the xml below the wheel section, if it doesn't have it, add it.

Code: [Select]
<brakeForce>1</brakeForce>
If it does, increase the value in small increments.

When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It is difficult only for the others. It is the same when you are stupid.

Thank you very much.

I played this map for FS11 myself, & i only had this problem with my no-till drill & my allice chalmers plough, all i did was just parked them in one of the sheds aginst the back wall, & there was no roll away for me every time i restarted a saved game on the white pines map, try doing this it might work for you.
IF IT AIN'T RED, IT STAYS IN THE SHED INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER FOREVER.

This issue was the brake force, that was the correct way to fix it. The problem was sovled almost a month ago now.
