Wondering how long it'll be before we see the update for this map to fix some of the issues and bugs that have been mentioned in this support thread? Seems like things have gone very quiet on this map of late.

I also wonder if maybe as a suggestion for an update for this map, would it be possible that if you decide to sell off the custom sheep, cow and pig areas from your garage menu, the buildings on those areas would also be removed. Have been playing this map on a Server and we got rid of the Pigs and Sheep because the oddly very low numbers that you can put into those pens, and wanted to replace them with the default game pens to house more animals, however the buildings don't get sold off and removed from the land, meaning those areas are now pretty much useless as we can't place the default pens into the areas.

Also not sure if anyone has mentioned this in the thread but there seems to be some bug/glitch with the lighting in the Pig Area of the map at night, where all the light sources, whether from the buildings, vehicles, placeable spot lights etc go really pixelated and minecraft looking. This was one of contributing factors to me selling off the Pig Farm, and moving it to the main farm, to lessen how much time we had to spend in this area, However I did want to re-use that area for other production building stuff and placeables but as noted above, the main pig building, the straw building do not disappear from the area when you sell off the pig pen.

Hey,
First of all, thanks for the work in bringing this map over to FS19 and making it Seasons ready! I do have a question though, at the cattle farm... I finally found the trigger to load the cattle, and I already knew to unload the TMR in the entrance to the cattle barn.... what I can't find is the location of the straw trigger, so I can give them bedding. Help would be appreciated!   (y)

So further in than the TMR trigger? Thanks, I'll take a look at that!

Are you using the Seasons version of the map? That was a bug I had with courseplay on the older non-seasons version. If you are running the Seasons map, what mode were you using in courseplay to generate this error?

I have trees that are 3/4 into the ground. This is causing the whole "Find the sweet spot" thing taking upwards of 5-10 minutes for a single tree. I can lower the ground with terrain editor, but this does not help "find the sweet spot". When I do manage to find a spot I can cut, the chainsaw goes through the animation, but nothing happens. I can leave the ground lowered, and sometime later, whether that be during the play session or after saving and exiting the game(Seems specifically exiting the game), I can come back and some of the trees will have moved up to the appropriate position and I am able to cut them with normally. That's assuming I was able to at least tickle it with the chainsaw D:
Is anyone else having this issue?
Also is sugarcane a thing on this map?
I am using the seasons ready version, however I do not use the Seasons mod.

The sunken trees are a feature of the original map to try and provide some variety in the trees instead of the cookie cutter clusters when they are all bunched together at the same height. They are a pain to cut down.  You can grow sugarcane without seasons but there are no sell points, you would have to put down a selling point placeable.

Anyone know how to give the horses straw?

Downloaded the map, and took a look at it ..

Of course you have bought the horsefarm ? only the base buildings are present at the beginning, all the rest you must buy .. When you do that, you get a few more buildings and fences - and what is more important, all the triggers for feeding the horses ..

I don't play the map (or FS19 by the way) but I've opened the map in GE - or to be more specific, opened the placeable horsefarm ..

Here is a picture of what you are buying, when paying for the horsefarm - you can clearly see the trigger .. If you can identify the buildings and fences, you should be able to locate the straw trigger ..

Sorry I can't do it better  ..

Question--County Line Seasons FS19
« Reply #116 on: December 06, 2019, 09:01:58 AM »
Can someone tell me where i to find the files for what the animals eat/use?  I want to add the corn and bean straw bales to bedding, and also want to add the CCM to the pigs, and maybe the cows also......

Yes, I'll try and help you  ..

CCM mod (oh, it's not called CCM Mod anymore, but MoreBunkerSilo) is controlling which animals can be fed with ccm .. It's in the newMaterialHolder.lua file in the Script folder .. Starts in line 75 ..

Straw for cows is to be found in the maps placeable cowfam folder .. husbandryCowLarge.xml is where the straw is mentioned, and for pigs and sheep you must find the husbandry.XML files for those animal groups - also located in the placeable folder ..

I'm not that good at FS19 yet, so you must experiment a bit on your own, to make it work ..

Good luck - Tom Cat

Why not poplar trees?

I downloaded another version of this map.

There were onions, carrots, spelled and many other crops.

Why aren't they with the new version here?

Then I found some errors on the map.

When you lean in behind you have to hit next to it because it comes in otherwise it is all behind the wall

Cow food can be fed outside the barn

I keep reading that you can buy fertilizer and Lime at the CPS, but where is the CPS. It is not marked on the map anywhere, and I have never been able to find any place where I can buy Lime on the map. I have always had to rely on placing a modded silo.

I wanted to remove all animal husbandry from the map.  No disrespect, just prefer a different look and layout.  I removed the horse stable from the .3d, but the triggers are still present and the horse stable shows up in the animal dealer area.  What am I missing?  Are these in the map i3d file?

If the triggers are still there, they are still in the defaultItems.xml.  The lines for the horse husbandry  must be deleted.
It should look something like this,
    <item className="AnimalHusbandry" id="7" modName="Map_FS19_???" filename="$moddir$Map_FS19_???/placeables/animalHusbandry/husbandryHorseLarge.xml" position="238.136 88.626 -387.067" rotation="0.0000 0.0000 0.0000" age="0" price="85000.000000" defaultFarmProperty="true" farmId="1" globalProductionFactor="0.000000">
        <module name="animals" fillCapacity="0.000000"/>
