Looking good,

Is it multifruit? Or is it only base game?

Txzar,

I'm not on this particular version, looks like I'm on the previous version.  I'm really enjoying the map and the feel of it.  Good job on recreating the American midwest as this could be Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, etc.

One question - there was a handy guide with the field sizes.  I believe I found it again on my hard drive but others might like to have it.  Is that included in the .zip download?

Thanks again for the map and all the hard work that you and others have done to put the content out there.

Loving this map.

Any idea what you did that made your map not have the micro stutter issues that all the other 4x maps seem to have?

http://americaneaglesmodding.com/index.php?topic=15155.msg108540;topicseen#new

The official County Line convert is having that issue and he has no idea why.

@mike33s

Field sizes - here's what I do when I want field sizes on a random map:
1. unzip the map and open the map i3d file in GE.
2. Find the "Fields" transform group and select it.
3. With the field transform group still selected, go up to the drop-down menus at the top and select 'Scripts' > 'FS19' > 'Map' > 'Get Field Sizes'
This will print out a list of all the field sizes (in hectares) in the GE console.  Now just copy and paste the list to a Word or other text document.

You never have to guess at the field sizes again.  Keep in mind that if you modify a field with your plow and make it bigger, this still only tells you the initial field size.

I am having an issue with the fertilizer states not changing.  I plow the fields and they say they need plowing and when i federalize it doesn't show i fertilized it.  Says it needs fertilized.  Any reason why this could be?  I had no issue with this on version 1.0, but the latest 1.1 I am having that issue.

For me, The lumber sell points and hay (bale) sell points are not working. Is there a quick fix or an update that I am missing?
Any help would be awesome!

There is a placeable sawmill for selling logs on this site.

I did find the sawmill last night and put it in my server. How ever now myself and those that on my server are running into another problem. We are not able to plant trees on this map. This not the first map we have found to have this problem. We all enjoy this Midwest Horizon and hope it is continuously updated or improved. However, is there something we are missing or not doing right when it comes to planting trees on the map?
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

The issues are that I have been to the sawmill and there is no trigger for the logs or wood chips. The sell points weight stations work but cant off load the grains at the silos and the sell point for wool has no trigger at all and I have looked in GE to find the triggers and they are not there.

I have tried the v1 and the v1.1 and nothing has changed I thought I was missing a mod or something to get the sell points to work but didn't see any mods required.

There is a drain tile pylon under the ground near the corner of fields 8, 10 and 81. It causes the helper to turn around even though there is no surface collision.

I haven't tried the sawmill.  I have run 3-4 million liters of grain through each sale point using courseplay and manually without problems.  My playthrough is currently on v1 as I didn't want to update to v1.1.

Midwest Horizon Not Showing Up in Game?
« Reply #16 on: August 06, 2019, 01:18:28 PM »
All,

I have recently downloaded the updated version of Midwest Horizon in FS19. When running in game it shows as a installed mod but will not give the map as an option when I go to start a new save game.

I reached out to Txzar and he told me to update the moddesc.xml from 43 to 44. I did this using notepad and didnt resolve the problem. My version of FS19 is the most current. Just updated it last week.

Anyone else have this issue or what can be done to fix it?

Thanks!

I just downloaded the current file and it loaded and played with no issue. I am on the latest patch. You might try loading and trying to play it with no other mods in your folders. I have well over 150 mods and did not have a problem.
Also post your log text and maybe somebody can see the issue.

Your log text is near bottom of folder where your mods go. You can select log text and hit copy andpost as an attachment in your forum post.

Got it. Alot in there to look over. What can I share or what should I look for?

This is what it shows under Midwest Horizon.

Error: Invalid mod name 'FS19_MidwestHorizon (3)'! Characters allowed: (_, A-Z, a-z, 0-9). The first character must not be a digit

Problem solved. Renamed it. Works now.
