Courseplay 6 Editor OSM Converter for FS19
« on: April 05, 2019, 04:02:04 PM »
Here is some free basic help.

Download link,
https://www.modhoster.com/mods/courseplay-6-editor-osm-converter-fur-ls19

With the courseplay OSM Course Converter it is possible
to edit the retrained with courseplay courses in retrospect.

Courses are converted to the OSM format,
can then be edited in the free OSM editor,
and then be converted back to use in the game.

features:

Correction of existing courseplay courses in an editor by drag and drop
Change curves, remove waypoints, change speeds
easy import and export of courseplay courses in the OSM format
Deposit the pda map for better orientation possible

Since the operation is not quite trivial,
we urge you to watch the linked video tutorial!

Go to the GitHub page of the tool: https://gada.link/courseyankee

Note: This solution is certainly not the most user-friendly,
but it allows 1: 1 function editorial editors,
but because of closed source not everybody likes to use it.

Have fun crafting, we look forward to feedback!

To easily edit the stored Courses from Courseplay,
this Program converts the XML Files generated by Courseplay into the openstreetmap format,
which can then be edited with JOSM:

Download, save and run the JAR file.

Course-> OSM select the courseManager.xml from the Courseplay folder of the desired Map

Specify The Map Size in Meter Edge length (2048 for normal or 4096 for Quadruple maps).
The Value is later used to help align a Wallpaper.

Choose a File to write in. Created a single OSM file containing all saved courses.

Download The Java OpenStreetMap Editor.

Open The File generated in Step 4. On display, for Example:

Optional: To store a Map pda:
Under Edit-> Settings-> Plugins install the Plugin  "PicLayer "
Set a Zoom Stage so that the complete Map can be seen (Zooming With Scroll wheel, move
with pressed right mouse Button). This is helped by the outer Square, which shows the
Size of the Map
In the Menu via Wallpapers-> New Image Layer from file load a Picture from the Map
At  "Layers " at the top right put the Picture Plane (put the white Hook in the green
Circle on the Picture plane)
With the Tools in the Bar on the left, move the Map appropriately. The outer Square helps
again. See also PicLayer's Guide.

Edit The Courses at will, move Or delete points, and then save them.

Choose In the Converter OSM > Course

Enter The stored OSM file

Enter a Directory to store the new Courseplay files. Warning: Existing Files are overwritten without
Demand! Use an empty Directory or create a Backup beforehand.
