Does anyone know where the board pallets are sold or are they for production.  Due to poor eyesight I cannot make out the little icon on the screen where prices and sell points are very well.  Definely sheep that cause the freezeup.  happened a few minutes after I purchased some.   Thanks in advance.

is there a way to open the gates at the dealership
Modded vehicles without proper ai collision will NOT trigger the gates.  You will have to either reset to farm or use another vehicle to trigger them.

curious what tank to use to pull the cream out of the one factory at the butter area.  the one building makes butter pallets and cream from milk but the cream is a liquid fill trigger.  I have tried various tanks and none of them work.  I put the Kotte universal tanks in but they do not include a cream icon on the fill types in the shop.
Need to test, but changed the modDesc to include the cream in the "liquid" category so Kotte trailers should work with upcoming update.
**Edit:  Cream now fills with Kotte Universal trailers--tested

I cannot get the seeds out of the seed maker by the composter either, Ive tried front loader and conveyor don't know what else to try
Replacing this seed mixer with another SeedMaster like at main farm.  Also deleted the log shredder from compost area to allow for more placeables.

The ramps on the pit at Pete's hardware don't have collisions.  Some trucks can't hop up on the pit.
fixed..thanks! (y)

I have not any tank the works well with any liquid triggers on the manufacturing plants.  I can get water into the soy plant, but not fuel...and vice versa elsewhere.  Maybe the author could post what tankers he used?
The Kotte universal pack of trailers are supposed to work for all production like the fuel at compostMaster, lime production, etc.
**Edit:  For some reason the "universal" trailers don't load default fuel, but the dedicated "Shell" trailer works fine--tested.  The sawmill only needs 1000gal, so be careful because it kept unloading fuel even after it was full--check the display to know when full or only have what you need in the Kotte fuel trailer

Just letting you knpw that the water fill point at the animals does not work atleast not for me.  Just wanted to know if there is a trick to the water fill point at the animals?
No trick..should work with default water tank as it's just a default water trigger.  Can't say whether it works with modded tanks or not...not sure why it wouldn't.  You are filling at the pump house outside the East gate right?

Could you also make a visual drop zone for pallets at the Deli?  I'm not sure where to drop beer there.

Thanks.
Deliveries are in the back alley.

It appears to be the sheep that was causing the freezing for me. I have cows, pigs, and chickens with no crashing now.

Thanks
Not sure why sheep are causing issues..will investigate  (y)
**Edit:  Had 100 of each animal tested with no freezes--see pics

Boards are accepted at TSC, Farmer's Market, and Pete's Hardware.  If you open the map01.xml in notepad++, you can scroll through all the sellpoints and what is accepted...also how you can edit any of them or the farm silos.
**Edit:  Sawmill boards were messed up--now fixed and selling correctly

For those of you with freeze problems make sure you don't have any other maps in the mod folder.
Can't stress this enough.  Other maps and the scripts included in them CAN POTENTIALLY mess with whatever map you are currently playing.  You should never have multiple modded maps loaded at the same time--nothing good comes of it.  I keep a backup folder that I move all maps I'm currently not playing to and only keep the current map in my mods folder.  Seems like a hassle at first, but you eventually get used to it.  Prevents a lot of headaches with conflicts.

Will give it a few more days to see if anymore issues crop up.  Otherwise, will post an updated version 1.01 by end of this week.  Thanks for all the feedback!

The info layers for the animal navmeshes are not correct. I redid the navmeshes with the correct info layers and I have like 250 sheep, 350 cows, 600 pigs, and 50 chickens and no crashing.

Another problem I am seeing is when I plant some of the fields, it plants them in a 45 degree angle. I'm not sure if that's something with the map or somethiing on my end.

Thanks

Ah,  that is where and how to do it.  I was looking at the Kotte trailers and saw the fill type was just liquid.  I was running the map on a MP server so I didn't put cream in there as a filltype on the mod as it would have been a decent amount of work to test but I will try to remember and see how you did this in mod desc for future needs as they crop up.

For the animal issues I was experiencing it was on a dedicated server.  For sure no other maps where on the server as I needed every bit of space for this map and the mods we where using.  All I know is we ran for 24 hours with no issues on the dedicated server with 6+ folks in most of the time.  then we picked up some cows and sheep and for the next 24 hours i restarted the server multiple times as people had freezing issues or failure to connect.  I got in after a restart and sold the cows and sheep and then the server ran non stop for another 10 days with no issues afterwards.

I get a similar issue when dealing with pounds. When filling anything with cotton, it shows "1" with the progress bar increasing from 0% to 100%. The store price is around $230,000. However, changing to bushels or liters seems to work normal. Selling in "pounds" only nets around $34000, which was the same I got when in bushels.

Should be easy.  Pull up modDesc.xml in notepad++ (or similar program), go toward the bottom where the crops are registered.  Change to "true" whichever of the following you prefer "peanut" to show up under:
useAsPigBasefeed="false" useAsPigGrain="false" useAsPigProtein="false" useAsPigEarthfruit="false"

I used the standard cow silos so not sure why wouldn't work, but I've never tried moving silage with a conveyor..does it normally work on the silos?

I put grass in the covered silage bunkers(look like wagon covers) on the farm with the animals.  It turned to silage a day later.  I tried to remove the silage using conveyor belts Lizard s-710 and sl-80-22 quantum to put in a semi-trailer.  The belts will not work on the silage.  I used this method on Lone Oak and no issues before using your map.  I can remove it using tractor and bucket, but conveyor belts will not work.  By the way I am really enjoying your map.  Nice Work!!

I just remembered that there were issues with conveyors working properly on 4x maps early on...I never use them, so not sure if this is still a Giants issue or what.  Here's a thread where it is discussed briefly in regards to the Rattlesnake Valley map when it first came out.  https://forum.giants-software.com/viewtopic.php?t=107005&start=720

You may have to play with the distance of the conveyor to the pile and see if it will trigger--i.e. move it out further than what it visually should be.  Sorry, wish I had a for sure fix.  You can also use this mod:  https://www.modhoster.com/mods/silage-frase--2

I will be submitting the version 1.01 update shortly for approval.

Thanks to everyone who contributed on this thread with issues/bugs for helping make the map better.  I plan on this being the only update unless something gamebreaking crops up.  The freezing issue with the animals should be fixed--I remember reading somewhere that making the navMeshes too big can cause problems, so I have reduced the sizes of the sheep and cow navMeshes and didn't encounter any issues after testing.  I know some have suggested adding other factories or whatnot to the map, but I have no interest in it.  If someone wants to edit the map further and release, I only ask that you change the name of the map in a way that won't cause confusion--otherwise feel free.

How difficult Giants makes it to convert maps to FS 19 will determine whether I bother trying to continue with this map into the future.  I won't be rebuilding it again--took way too much work.  If not, I would rather work on a new standard sized map anyway, so we'll see.

Oklahoma USA 2017 Map V1.01

http://americaneaglesmodding.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=1678

Changelog Version 1.01:
--fixed sawmill board pallets not selling
--rebuilt sheep and cow navMeshes to prevent freezing
--removed unmowable grass from field by farm 3
--adjusted "cream" to now fill with the Universal Kotte trailers--these trailers are also needed to carry fuel to the compostMaster, lime production, sawmill, etc.  You can download the pack here:  http://www.modhub.us/farming-simulator-2017-mods/kotte-universal-pack-2-0-xx/

**You will need to start a new game to have all changes take effect.
**CCM mod and StrawHarvest mod will conflict with this map.

This is the rebuild of my FS15 Oklahoma USA map for FS17.  Still 4X map with 51 fields.  Now includes factories which are listed further below.  Unzip the file to find the map file along with the zzz_cropMowing file necessary if you want to be able to mow the alfalfa and clover--if you already have this from another map, you don't need this version as I just included for those who may not have it yet.

Lots of changes from the '15 version.  There are now 5 farms--main, farms1-3, and the livestock farm which now houses ALL animals.  You can buy additional chickens inside the building attached to the pen.  More sell points added.  Any fields separated by "mowable" grass can be plowed together.  There are 2 good sized forests--a Spruce farm in the NE corner behind the dealership and a mixed one NE of Mary's farm.

Here are some other details straight from the README located in the Credits.txt file included with the download:
--Map is setup for use with choppedStraw, clipDistanceFPS, and Seasons Mod--highly recommend all!
--PDA Map shows all factories/production facilities in GREEN--these do not have to be used if you prefer straight farming map.
--Map setup with custom Seasons Mod weather and temps but will be overwritten by any GEO mods that are used.
--Hayfields (hayF1/hayF2/hayF3 marked on pda) can be resown without plowing--Courseplay will recognize boundaries by using "detect" function
--Speeding up time beyond 120 can cause problems with fields being properly planted/cultivated by AI--do at your own risk
--All 51 fields feature missions (good luck doing 6 or 13 though)  ;D
--Bank of Hagensted mod works allowing for leasing/selling of fields--However, just know that even after selling/lease lapse, Courseplay will still show field as selectable
--Cannot fill water from ponds--water pump houses are located at each farm
--zzz_cropMowing must be in your mods folder to be able to mow Alfalfa and Clover--GreenMowing Mod does not work per my testing and will likely conflict with zzz_cropMowing--I would not have both in mods folder
--Cotton Gin accepts both cotton bales and loose cotton so you are free to harvest it how you like
--All farm silos only accept cereal grains plus seeds and seeds2--peanuts, cotton, potatoes, and sugarBeets will have to be stored in piles or sold
--Lime and compost both function as fertilizer--Lime is used in dry fert spreaders/compost in manure spreaders
--Each farm has a level placeables area--size varies by farm with the largest(marked on PDA) at the main farm--an additional area is available SW of Dairy (marked on PDA)
--Starting money is:  5MM on easy, 3.5MM on normal, and 2MM on hard--Extra cash can be found for those willing to make a splash and maybe a fool of themselves in public

 Factories:
Sugar--input:  sugarBeet or sorghum(milo) and water  output:  sugar pallet
Brewery--input:  wheat, barley, and water  output:  beer pallet
CompostMaster2K7--input:  potato/sugarBeet/chaff/silage/grass/hay/woodChips/manure/straw and fuel  output:  compost(functions like fertilizer)
Bread--input:  flour pallet, water, and sugar pallet  output:  bread pallet
Biscuit--input:  oat, flour pallet, butter pallet, and sugar pallet  output:  biscuit pallet
Soy Plant--input:  soybean, water, and fuel  output:  liquidManure, milk, and pigFood
Sawmill--input:  fuel and logs  output:  woodChips and pallet
iceCream--input:  milk, cream pallet, and sugar pallet  output:  iceCream pallet
dairy--input:  milk  output:  cream pallet and butter pallet
  Flour--input:  Grains(rye/oat/wheat/barley/maize)  output:  flour pallet
Lumber--input:  straw/wool/woodChips and logs  output:  board pallet and woodChips
Lime--input:  fuel  output:  lime(functions like dry fertilizer)
Refinery--input:  rape  output:  fuel, forage, and digestate
Tims Tables--input:  logs  output:  table pallet
Bens Joinery--input:  logs  output:  barrels, cargoBox, and pallet
Greenhouses--input:  water, compost, and manure  output:  cauliflower/melon/tomato/pumpkin/lettuce pallet

Known issues/bugs:
--Multiplayer will throw an error based on the starting money setup--just "comment out" or delete the money part from ModMap.lua found in the "scripts" file to eliminate
--Log is clean for single player--If you are getting any errors, you have a mod conflict
--HIGHLY recommend running this map as the only map in your mods folder to avoid conflicts

what cotton picker are people using on the map?  I am using a JD, though I think it an older version, it has a few issues.  Anyway - like the idea of making bales of cotton.

Oh - and how many cases of beer with the deli take?  I have tried several times to sell a full trailer of beer pallets with no success.  I can sell a full trailer at the farmers market.
Along those lines, if I want to edit Applebees and Casey's to take beer, where would those lines be?

Enjoying the map quite a bit.  about 120 hours in total.

Love that you decided to finish this conversion from FS15, thank you, it was my fav map on FS15.  Question though, what happened to the hill that used to be in the center of the map? Was it deemed unrealistic or something? I liked it personally.

Cheers!

Is there a way to keep the factories from auto selling the goods?  Did I miss something?  Places like Tim's Tables, I don't want it to auto sell the tables.

I have not gotten that far on the map, but it occurs to me, if there is no sell point for those items, they would by default have to auto-sell?  And of course you would need a trailer that loads that material type...

At any rate - I assume if you open the i3d in notepad++ and look at the factory there is something in the code for autosell.

Well, the one I am looking at right now is the tables from Tim's Tables.  The menu shows two places that buy the tables, and Tim's is one of them.  However, with everything else we are doing, we would have to get like 2 tables at a time, and only when we remember or are in that area.

I am somewhat confused by what trailers will dump at the pig food silo.  I can get TDK trailer to reliably dump, but rear dump trailers are not consistent.  grain trucks will not see the trigger, neither will wilson trailers., etc.  Is there any easy edit?
