AO Baking - Part shows in Blender but not in Giants Editor
« on: July 10, 2018, 08:48:48 PM »
I have AO baked this model a few times and get the same result. It is only the black part around the seat not working. Anyone know how to solve  or fix this issue? Here are pictures from blender and Giants Editor.

Are you checking the path for the blender ao. Also try using a lighter black. Since ao is the shading of light you might be to dark of black to get the ao look you are wanting

I have just tried with different colors and shades and got the same problem. I have exported the model with out textures to GE and I got the same problem. I think there is a problem with the model, but its only that one part. Anyway to fix the model, I have also duplicated the parts and joined them but get the same problem.

Is the black parts separate from the other parts

Yes.
Have you tried just using a solid black texture instead of your ao. If so and it still looks like that. Your faces may need to be flipped

In blender on the left side there's a tab that says shading/uv. Click on that tab. Then select the faces that seem flipped and by the flip. Ill try and get a picture of it later today. Most of the time if you look at the faces and the ones that look darker almost black are flipped
