I can not get the draper to lift off the ground. When I attach using the Case 9 series it automatically goes into the down position (although the icon shows it as up) and when I try to put it down it picks the whole front of the combine up off of the ground. Also with this condition there is no way of getting it onto the trailer.

Feel like the header should be scaled down some more. Plus its a coin toss on whether its going to lower and cut properly or bounce up and down .

The only issue I've had is with the cutter height adjustment mod in testing.  If you use that mod, just make sure that the "auto adjust" feature is off, and the cutter will glide across the ground like in the pic of the red one with the case.

No idea why some of you are saying it's lifting the combine up...never had that happen with any of the default or modded combines I've tested it with.

I keep forgetting your much valued wisdom to this community. I will turn off auto adjust height mod and see if that makes any difference.

Same issue for me, cannot get it off the ground with my modded combine or the in game 9230. I don't have the cutter height mod either.

Just double checked the mass and compared it to the default 45' caseIH, and this header is way, way lighter.  The default is around 5 while this adds up to about 1.5 in GE.  So it's not looking like the mass is off, someone who is having the issue with lifting the combine, please run this in the mods folder by itself, use a default caseIH 9230, and see if you still have the issue.  I'm leaning towards this being some kind of mod conflict causing this, because I've never had it happen with any of numerous combines I've tried.

No its not that its to heavy what they are saying is that when you attach it, it seems like the lower/lift is reversed. The FRONT wheels lift off the ground, not the rear. Here is a picture. http://imgur.com/NZ3ziuH

I'll down load it and see what happens.  See if I can duplicate issue.  I didn't have probs with mid combine in 15.  I'll test for 17.

I am having the exact same problem. I cant get the header off the ground. Its a REALLY good header and who ever made this mod did a fantastic job but just can get it onto a header trailer to move it around from field to field

Uploaded for testing the changed file that killerrf provided as V2...seems to work smoother and apparently fixed the problems some were having with lifting the header.

Did you direct drop that zip in your mods folder? or did you unpack it into the old Midwest folder? i think you are supposed to overwrite the old files. The header trailer wasn't changed so I would think this just be an over write of the other stuff.

Midwest 60 ft draper pack v2

http://americaneaglesmodding.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=1512

Description: This is the Midwest 60 foot draper and trailer pack based on a real life, working model from Mid West Fabrication in Australia.  More info can be found here:  http://www.midwest.net.au/platforms.htm

Install:
--Unzip main file and drop contents into your FS 17 mods folder

Features:
--17.5 meters cutting width (increased 0.1 for easier math with courseplay)
--Adjustable reel
--Locking script on trailer
--Color select on side panels of draper (default is JD green followed by close approximations of                    Claas USA and Europe added to the default colors)
--Added an "adapter plate" to fill in the open space around the feeder house--not perfect but gives the desired effect

Known issues:
--width of draper is too great for most unloading augers of modded combines to unload in a traditional side by side method--However, the default CIH 9230 is just right and works with Courseplay.
--Also, particle system has a small gap as it recycles across the draper when viewing from outside cam--not noticeable from inside cam

Changelog:
--fixed issue with header not lifting properly (credit to killerrf)

Credits:

Original FS15:
--Ingaming/blender/texturing/testing:  killerrf
--testing:  cjwilksy
--model provider:  hockeyman
--model creator:  Polygonish

FS17 conversion/edit:  cjwilksy

This is the Midwest 60 foot draper and trailer.  All credit goes to killerrf for really taking this project on and doing the heavy lifting.  Special thanks to hockeyman for giving us the chance to bring this to the community.

Please leave any bugs/issues on the support topic at AEM (americaneaglesmodding.com), and I will do my best to fix.

Best Regards,
cjwilksy

Am I missing something? the description says its a 60-ft header and has an in game width of 17.5 meters.  IRL, 60 feet converts to 18.3 meters - 17.5 meters is 57 feet.

I do believe it was done this way for the fact that headers in this game dont always cut the actual width listed. sometimes they cut a foot or two right and left outside the header frame so..

I usually use this one with the CLAAS Monster Edition and haven't really paid any attention to that  :)

Of course now that you've posted this, I'll probably see it every time I use it from now on.

60 FOOT CUTTER PACK WITH TRAILER V1.0 FS17 Helper Not Working
« Reply #24 on: August 20, 2017, 01:30:35 PM »
Hello everyone. I have a bug to report. I downloaded the 60 FOOT CUTTER PACK WITH TRAILER V1.0 FS17 and I noticed that when I use the corn cutter, the helper wont work. It works with the other cutter but not the corn cutter. Any way to activate the helper in the file/subfolder. I tried to look for it in all the files to see if it was active but i couldn't find it.
