3406B startup, idle, run, turbo, and shutdown wav files
« on: July 06, 2015, 10:53:08 PM »
i just thought i would throw this out there to anyone who wants a cat sounding engine.   i think i got the files trim good enough.   like the title says.
i adjusted my xml for the semi for sound as this:

<motorStartSound file="$data/vehicles/steerable/man/petestartup.wav" pitchOffset="1" volume="1" />
    <motorSound file="$data/vehicles/steerable/man/peteidle.wav" pitchOffset="1" pitchScale="0.011" pitchMax="1.7" volume="1" radius="50" innerRadius="20" />
    <motorSoundRun file="$data/vehicles/steerable/man/peterun.wav" pitchOffset="0.75" pitchScale="0.012" pitchMax="1.6" volume="4" />
   <motorSoundRun2 file="$data/vehicles/steerable/man/turbo.wav" pitchOffset="0.5" volume="0.1" pitchMax="0.8" volumeMax="0.25"/>
    <motorStopSound file="$data/vehicles/steerable/man/peteshutdown.wav" pitchOffset="1" volume="1.5" />

i like it.   files are mono the way game wants.   much better sounding than stock.
