the release date for the download version is oct 17 i have a freind that has bout it already and got an email with that date but i think i will wait for cd version not that i dont trust giants i just dont trust these comps now days always going out and losing info

Will I have to go through steam?? I hate steam. Another game I play on is through steam and I can't play it in offline mode even cause of steam.
