I need to place more than one tree, but is it possible to do it without pushing the cntr and D (duplicate) them pressing cbtr B (placement) keys. Basically a simpler way than pushing key after key dozens of times. I know about transform groups. Thanks.

yes, leave the left mouse button pressed, lift off of the ctrl key and press the ctrl key again, you can use the alt key to change rotation of the object or trees

Sorry I may have not explained this correctly. I'm trying to duplicate a tree without pressing cntr+D then cntr+B every time to place another tree. Kinda like in game tree placement.

That's what he described to you above...it's a quicker way of placing multiple trees without having to ctrl+d and b every time.  Also, splinePlacement is a great way to place an entire forest quickly too.

Thank you very much. Got it figured out.
