I'm also unsure as to which heads out there would be best to use on it? Corn and grain both?

Dont take this the wrong way, its a nice mod. Here are my suggestions

Grain Tank Extensions, as Dylan also noted.
New or different cab.
Chaff spreader on the back.
And paint and AO

Either way, good job on it.

If you want to complain about it's lack of a bin extension and AO texture you're a bit late to the party as people already did that in the WIP topic.   If you want to know why it doesn't have those things go look at the WIP topic.

Next person who says bin extension or AO texture better have an extension or AO texture done and ready to put on the next release. I can't do everything.

What is wrong with the cab and spreaders?

Great job, it ran very well. The only thing I found was it seemed to take quite awhile to unload into the chaser. Maybe it could use speeding up the unload value just a bit. Although, maybe you made it realistic for that model of harvester and most of the other harvester mods unload faster than in real life which I've gotten used to.

Everything you said has already been discussed in the WIP topic.  I will not ne making AO textures for models that weren't made for it and I will not be making a bin extension unless someone wrights me a script to run two different planes.

I took the specs out of the brochure so it's the same as the real thing. maybe start uploading on the go or set the number higher.

Downloaded it and used it today. Everything works perfect. Very much enjoying it! Only things I would suggest, and I am no modder so idk what all would go into adding either of these so I'm just throwing them out there, but maybe make the ladder swivel and maybe add a actual spreader on the back that spins. Other than that I'd say its perfect!

What is wrong with the cab and spreaders?

http://www.machinefinder.com/images/machines/67/2257167/3542578_huge.jpg

That is what the Cab should look like, and there is a non existent spreader on the back....

They were just suggestions.

And there isn't a spreader on the combine, if there was it would look something like this

And there isn't a spreader on the combine, if there was it would look something like this....were usually after market addons by the farmer not standard equipment.....Geez people wonder why there are so many mods kept private....Fraser makes a sweet JD combine and all everyone does is pick out issues instead of enjoy it....sorry for getting of topic but good grief people

That is true. Not every model has spreaders. Some have spreaders and no chopper, others have chopper and no spreaders, and then some have both. Ours happens to have both. We have a chopper on it and dual spreaders on it from vittetoe.

Funny when i replaced one this summer, John Deere had them in stock, and Most of the 9000 series combines around here have chaff spreaders. All we did was give ideas, and he gets hacked off.

He asked for the Ideas/Suggestions

New ideas, not ones that have already be gone over a bunch of times in the WIP topic.  You said the spreader on the back of my combine wasn't real so I put up a picture.

And can I ask what the problem is with the cab?  it looks like a 9610 cab to me.

I'm assuming that by spreader, you mean chaff spreader which looks like this:

What's on this combine is a straw chopper, not a chaff spreader.

Good simple mod Fraser.

Oh, thanks for clearing that up (I'm not really a combine guy)  Why does this always seem happen in my support topics?
